About Indirect ChannelSince we began trading in 1998, we've launched brands such as Businessbuyguide, Commsbuyguide and ITbuyguide, designed to provide specialist services for business buyers. Our mission has always been to connect the right buyers with the right suppliers, and our business has always focused on using the Internet as our main channel to market. Between 1998 and 2004, we changed the way that buyers looked for and found the right suppliers, through our revolutionary buyer/supplier matching service. Between 2005 and 2006, Segun Osu, Nick White and Tim Trent joined our senior leadership team and advisory board. This team had previously been working together at Gartner, the worlds largest technology research and marketing organisation. As VPs and Directors at Gartner, they brought leadership and management skills, and specific expertise in ecommerce, consulting, marketing and research. In 2006, to exploit the experience and knowledge of our leadership team and advisers, we launched brands such as ITbuyguide and Commsbuyguide that focus exclusively on matching buyers and suppliers across the technology and telecommunications industries. In 2006, we also made significant financial investments in the backend technology required to streamline our buyer/supplier matching operations. Our technology infrastructure provides significant competitive advantage by allowing us to very quickly and efficiently evaluate buyer requests and match these to appropriate qualified suppliers. By early 2007, our clients included leading technology and telecommunications vendors such as Alcatel Lucent, Aastra and Netsuite, and/or their resellers. We continued to focus our attention on serving a diverse mix of small and large technology and telecommunications suppliers across the UK. Leading buyer organisations such as IG Index, Virgin Media, Morgan Stanley and BA Service use our Buyguide service, as do a wide range of mid sector businesses and SMBs from across the UK. In 2007, ITbuyguide and Commsbuyguide brands were joined by CRMbuyguide and VoIPbuyguide, and our buyer/supplier matching service was expanded to include categories such as Business Technology Software, Ecommerce, IT Support and Communications. In 2008, we will continue to serve Business Buyers and Business Suppliers. Businessbuyguide, a service that matches buyers with suppliers across general business categories, including technology, was launched at the end of 2007 OverviewWe give technology suppliers fast access to motivated buyers who are actively looking for their products and services.
